    NFL Suspending Pro Bowl?

That's apparently what sources are saying: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/78...wl-sources-say

The time has come, or rather it did long ago. The players don't care, there's no making them care, and there is no way to make this game relevant again. I emphatically endorse such a move.

They should just move to a skills competition that doesn't involve contact.

They should have a league game Vets vs the rookies and rookies are 3 years and under vets are 4 plus.... I am sure you would have some rookies trying to show their worth and that may rile up the vets?

Word is the Pro Bowl will continue after the NFLPA assured the players would give more effort. I don't see how giving next to no effort is better than no effort at all, so this is nothing but bad news as far as I'm concerned.

I think that a game with the best NFL players from around the leagues, where the players had something to play for, and truly wanted to win would be ballin. But, that will never happen. Just scrap it. It jumped the shark when the players from the Super Bowl teams couldn't play.

You linked an article from April. At the time, that was the speculation.

But the NFL later announced that there WOULD be a Pro Bowl next year. It's long term future could still be in doubt.

I think he linked to an article from April because he posted it in April. It would be pretty impressive if he had posted an article from the future.
