    Rick Adair...I am very confused...

I was on the Rick Adair needs to go bandwagon last year...I honestly thought Mike Griffin needed to be our PC. Now our pitcher's ERA is 3.11 and we seem to have a solid future moving forward. Why? What has changed? Is Rick Adair doing a good job with the group this year? I'm confused, please help.

I never had a problem with Adair... only Mark Conner.

And maybe nothing has changed! Maybe we had all this talent all along.

And I like Griffin (and now Peterson) in the minors. "Finishing" our guys.

One thing different is the pitchers, by my quick count 8 of our current pitchers were either in the minors or on different teams when he took over last June.

And we got a real number 2 and a Helium number 3 essentially dropped out of the sky on us. Chem and Hammel are amazing additions. I would never have guessed.
Also the bulpen Dan Duquette and Buck and Andy MacPhail built seems to be solid as a rock.

    And Matusz has Brady's glove

Most people made Adair guilty by association last year. Pitching coaches usually get too much credit or too much blame.

Might have something to do with having better pitchers.
