Seriously...I hate the way he always uses his brother-in-law to try and paint all O's fans as idiots for actually being excited when our team is doing well. It's just infuriating.

It isn't ok for any team's fans to be thinking playoffs in April. That said, it is always ok to give your brother-in-law a hard time.

I liked that piece. The texts were obviously in jest, and Rosenthal actually pointed out what's going right this year. Not to mention he's actually... giving us a chance. This is more than I expect from a national writer.
I don't like it, it's weirding me out.

Even positive comments have to be placed in a larger negative context with ol' KR. I found this to be a remarkably condescending slap at the O's.

^^^^ right on big D. Until we can (at the minimum) go . 500 vs Yanks, Sox, and Rays... We aren't even close to being a playoff team
