As of April 30, what do you believe are the odds the Orioles make the playoffs?

Just want to see whether 22 games have materially changed anyone's mind about the team's playoffs chances.

I'll be able to answer this question after May 15. Right now I think the odds of their reaching .500 have gone up.

Greater than they were before the season started....lower than I want them to be.

I don't think I could form a real opinion until after these next 4 series, though.

I think our odd's of just getting to .500 for the first time in 14 years is a lot better than even thinking about playoffs at this point.

This. After 15 years a good dose of pragmatism has tempered my optimism. I want to see what they do with the bully's on the block.

I was going to say 5% before seeing the choices. I feel more comfortable with 2-4 then 5-9.

    6.2% up from 2.8%.

    Or something like that.

I can't say any more than 5 percent. They simply haven't played enough good teams yet. They played the Yankees tough in the first series, and the pitching matchups look favorable for this series. I am more interested to see how they look on May 30th than May 15th, if they do play around .500 ball (or slightly worse) for the next 5 series I am curious whether they can return to taking care of business against lesser competition.

I think a team playing like us with this kind of start could reasonably expect a berth 1/20 times, even in our slaughterhouse division.

Isn't this always going to be the case? (Or is there a precedent for under .500 teams making the playoffs)?

I predicted 82 wins before the season, and this good start has me feeling good about that, but in no way do I assume a playoff run. I voted 5-9% on this poll.

Slim and None (and Slim just left town). Do think they may top 75.
