Junior Seau committs suicide?
http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/1240/junior-seau
TMZ reports that former Patriots and Chargers LB Junior Seau was found dead Wednesday in his Oceanside (CA) home.
TMZ's report cites multiple law enforcement sources. Police are currently investigating the 43-year-old's death, but initial rumors are that it may have been a suicide. In October of 2010, Seau was arrested for felony spousal assault with injury after allegedly driving his SUV off a cliff in Carlsbad. Following the incident, Seau denied vehemently that he had attempted suicide. May 2 - 2:17 PM

I honestly hope it was murder. It pains me to see a young guy kill himself after such success in life.
I am reminded of Flanagan.

Yea, just read this, pretty tragic. Seems like another football player who had a hard time adjusting to normal life. Sad. RIP Junior.

Obviously we're going to need for the autopsy to come out, but I wouldn't be shocked if it's concussion related. He played for 20 seasons and took an absolute beating at one of the most physical positions. Way too young, and an absolute damn shame.

Football, as we grew up with it, is over. Never again will we see a monster hit go without a penalty. More and more rules will be invented to increase the passing game and to protect QBs and receivers. I hope Seau's death (if it turns out to be concussion related) serves as a reminder to the NFL that these guys are putting their lives on the line every time they go out there and they do all they can to protect them. I understand the players know the risks. That doesn't excuse the NFL of this responsibility. When I was in my 20s and someone offered me millions of dollars to play a game and I knew the risks, I would still have played and so will these guys. Take care of them.
