Cook is cooked. Valentine is such a fool: he fell for the macho act and got burned--by Hardy, Markakis, What Cook's still in there?, Jones, Wieters, Haven't pulled him yet?, Davis, Betemit.... I know Bobby had to keep him in there b/c of how he handled the BP last night, but hey, I'm sure Buck wd have pulled him.

That Cook is still pitching. I think if he had left, it would be a different story right now.
    I am glad Cook stayed

    2. 14 consecutive losing seasons is enough to deaden anyone's nerves to feeling any sympathy for the opposition. Win, boys, win, is all you can think about. FINALLY, we aren't the ones in those shoes. Thank God.
I hear ya. Kick them repeatedly when they're down.

He got spiked by Chris Davis while covering the plate after a passed ball.

In fairness to Valentine, his bullpen is absolutely torched after last night's game. I'm sure he wanted to squeeze as many innings as possible out of Cook. And Cook wasn't pitching badly until this inning. I don't think Valentine did anything wrong.

Hey people, it's still early in the game, but how about we give this guy some greenies for his post in the ongoing lineup thread before today's game ???

Covering home on a passed ball he did a rock star style powerslide when catching the ball...right as Davis was sliding in to home. He basically impaled himself, but since he was moving (as was Davis) it became a gash instead of puncture wound.

Hi, my name is Mark Reynolds. You might remember me as somewhat of a power hitter.
