Why should the O's be buyers?

    Vs Yankees 3-5
    Vs Rangers 1-3
    Vs Angels 2-6

Just would be 1 and done in playoffs. Just stay with what you got and play for .500.

Do you have to start a thread about this everyday? I'm pretty sure you are on record.

Yeah. I wouldn't be outraged if they tried to make a go of it this year, but if it were my call I'd just stand pat and see what we got here. Does the choice have to be buyer or seller? Is there no "sit with what you got" option?

I agree with where you're going, but if a team has the opportunity to make the playoffs, a good gm will usually jump on it.

The os are going to be a wild card team on July 14th (when tje all star break Os done). I just hope DD Os smart about any moves.

Because the O's are 45-38 and 2nd place in AL East, and because there are players available that could not only fix this teams flaws this year but possibly be long term solutions?

45 and 39 and only a game lead on the last wild card.

How big of a lead do you need to be buyers?

IF we get the second wildcard and we were in a one game playoff. Birdlands records show we could do well in that scenario its only one game and we have beat all those teams once, thanks birdland for getting me pumped up if we get that far. Im glad the wildcard play in game is only a one game playoff not a five or seven game series where it wouldnt look as good for us. Thanks again bigtime orioles fan of the day birdland.

That is foolish logic. If you don't think the Orioles should be buyers that is a reasonable opinion but to base any of that opinion on a 1 game playoff makes no sense. For one how do you know those teams will be able to line their pitcher up and number 2 anybody can win a single game.
