Orioles reportedly unhappy with Boston lineup?
According to a major league source, Orioles folks weren't thrilled to see the Red Sox lineup Monday night. Dustin Pedroia was out with a jammed left finger and Jacoby Ellsbury, who has been nursing a lat strain, also was held out against Sabathia.

Anyone buying this?

Doesn't sound like Buck. He's the "it is what it is" guy!

Britt just mentioned on the pre game show that they weren't very happy when they saw the lineup.

You get to this point in the season, it's silly to think buck would be upset. The Red Sox are an awful club right now... one of the worst. We all know the Yankees have a MONSTER lineup that is motivated. We had our shot at the Sox and took advantage of it... now it's their turn.
I think we, as fans, might have some disappointment because we have a very specific outcome we want... but every east team has an equal shot at other east opponents.
If anything, the O's should be kicking themselves for not getting one more game out of that recent Jays series in Baltimore!
I highly doubt that the "team" is fuming about the Red Sox piddly lineup. That's just lame.

David Ortiz: Obscenely unhappy in Boston.

I just caught on ESPN that the Rays were putting their best players on the field even though they are eliminated. Maddon said that he is doing this because it is the right thing to do, and Baltimore did that for them last year. You would think rolling over would be thank you for last year, not trying to play spoiler.

I don't care, we are in the playoffs no matter what. Might as well earn it, instead of having a lay down like the MFY's

Of course you're not "happy" per se. But oh well. Just win. You take care of yourself, you don't worry about anyone else. The Sox started mailing it in long ago. It helped the O's this past weekend. But that's the way it works. We're still in the post season. THAT's what matters to me.

Non-story. Pedroia has a broken finger next to a sore finger. Ellsbury has some kind of ailment that's caused him to start in just 3 games in the last 14 days. They are both back in the lineup tonight.
Besides, the Red Sox traded half their roster to the LAD.

If you would take the time to finish reading what I said before you write something, you would see the following at the end of the small paragraph that I wrote:

I'm really confused why this is a story.
We're the Os supposed to be happy that the BoSox benched their 2 best hitters last night? I mean, could anyone ever expect the Os to be something other than unhappy about that?
This might be the most obvious news story ever. Any team isn't going to be happy about something that directly negatively impacts their post season chances.
It should only be a story if the Os came out and said they WERE happy about it.....
