Really didn't like it. Cal doesn't have to be pro Oriole, but you don't minimize Brooksie one week after his ceremony.

yeah, that's just.....bizzare....and odd. And not even remotely true. Would any big name baseball writer even agree to this?

Cal should have kept his mouth shut on the topic even if his opinion was correct. It clearly being wrong from a factual standpoint makes it more egregious.

Considering Cal was 17 when Robinson retired, I dont know how much of his opinion I trust there. He was 14 the last time Brooks was an All Star

I have no problem with it. Beltre is a beast. I love Brooks, but it isn't like what he said is absurd.

Wow! Did Cal really say that? What else did he say that was stupid? I mean great shortstop and all, but, guy never seemed like the sharpest tool in the shed.
