    We should thank TAMPA!

When we faced Cobb, Shields, and Hellickson, it honestly looked like they all could have thrown no-hitters. The location of the pitches, the speed, the movement.....I didn't blame us one bit for struggling offensively with their pitchers. And Rodney is even worse!

Looking at Darvish and Nathan, I knew we could get hits off those guys. They don't have nearly the combination of speed, movement, and flawless location that those Tampa cyborgs have. I have to think that everyone, and that includes CC and Verlander, will be easier for us to hit than what we saw in Tampa. Kuroda, Phelps, Pettitte....whatever. We can nail all of those dudes.

So I will tell you this: I think our bats will be fine. Nobody left in the playoffs is as sick as the Tampa pitchers.

We should thank the A's. They put us in the position to play the Rangers. I much prefered a one game playoff in Texas rather than traveling to Oakland.

The Giants are as equally sick... but if we get that far, I won't be complaining
