Yankee lineup has no holes
When I saw the lineup at the beginning of the game, I realized quickly that there are literally no holes in that lineup. Their 8 and 9 hitters, Martin and Ibanez, have gotten countless clutch hits in September. There are no easy outs anywhere in that lineup. None. Look at the other playoff teams....most of them have at least 2 guys in their lineup that a pitcher should be able to get through. Every Yankee hitter swings at zero pitches off the plate. They are very patient and walk a lot. They have always been this way.
I don't blame any of our players for anything in this game. CC pitched great and the Yankee hitters busted loose because they are collectively just that talented. With that being said, let's see how we do tomorrow before we write the obituary.

Best team money can buy. These guys know how to do the little things and the big things well.

We held them in check for 8 innings. We had plenty of chances to make something happened and failed. Simply put, we choked.

Why is it everytime we loose people say we choked. If you didn't notice they have some good players too. CC looks like he will win 300 games in his career he made the big pitches in the game just like we did in some key points. They left guys on base a lot as well. It was a very well played game from both teams for 8 innings with both teams getting chances and then the pitchers making big pitches. I was very impressed with out guys with hanging right there with them with so little experience. Look at the number of post season games played for them vs. number we played.

A-rod has been really really terrible lately
Ibanez can only hit in Yankee stadium because of the short porch. The game winning hit he got also hit the runner (but whatever the red sox suck anyway its not like they would've won)
Cano is another hole
Martin and Tex are both terrible with RISP
so that that for what you want. This is pretty much what i gathered from yankee fans on the ESPN Boards when they were playing the red sox, what is funny is that they spammed the game board tonight thinking that they already won the ALDS.

No holes, but the Red Sox shut them down for 9 innings save for a Raul pinch hit homerun.
They have a very good lineup. But good pitching shuts it down. See the first 8 innings.
Johnson was awful today. Win game 2. Lets take care of our business, folks.
