IF your gonna jump!!
Do it now and save all us the time of reading your threads. Some people really need a reality check. No player is perfect, they make mistake, go into slumps. Amazing how this place BLOWS UP after a frickin loss!

Not that amazing. First taste of playoff baseball in 15 years. Against one of the most hated opponents that any team has (they didn't write a show called Damn Tigers). Even the most even-keeled person with tempered expecations for this team right now is going to have their emotions running a little high.

Also stop to consider that nothing's a given when it comes to MLB play-offs. Teams that have won 100 games have gotten knocked out in the first round.

Pffffft I'm not jumping anywhere.
This is all gravy/icing/whipped cream to me.

People have been saying this for the last few months, and for the first time, I legitimately agree.
I said a few weeks ago that what I really wanted was a legitimate playoff series, one where we have a chance to rock the yard and see our team in the "real" playoffs.
I was so nervous before that WC game, but last night, I was just soaking it in.
Which is not to say I won't be disappointed if they don't beat the Yanks, because I will be, but I got what I wanted out of this season from this point. Everything else is a cherry on top.

I can't jump. There are no hills high enough in the low country of South Carolina.

Too late for me.
I had plenty of chances to jump off many a cliff during the last 15-years, but I couldn't do it. Somehow, some way, I thought they might be back. And, well, here they are, warts and all (the all being 93 wins, and eliminating the Texas Rangers).

I don't have a "gonna" and if I did, I wouldn't want it to jump.

I think fans that have stuck by this team the last 15 years, have a right to vent after an ugly loss to the Yankees. Who are we to tell them how to act or feel emotionally after that.
