    Yankee hubris

    Courtesy the NY Post:

BALTIMORE -- Prior to the start of the postseason Russell Martin stated pitchers were at a competitive disadvantage working against the Yankees.

"I feel bad for whoever we face,'' Martin said. "We have no holes in our lineup.''
Mr. Martin, I'd like you to meet my friend Mr. Chen.

Martin is just another obnoxious creep that plays for the Yankees.

That's kind of redundant. Obnoxious creep and Yankee. Funny how I didn't think that when he was a Dodger. Haha F the Yankees!

He's also wrong; Martin is a huge hole in the Yankee lineup.

    Nick Swisher too, of late.

And the hole in Mark Teixeira's leg had an effect tonight too.

Don't forget A-rod, the ultimate postseason choker. The one year he had clutch hits the Yankees won the World Series. I am never worried when he comes up, especially with RISP.

I did. He was definitely a creep with the Dodgers. Just more laid-back with better sunglasses.

Haha. I have to admit. I don't watch many Dodgers games but a guy just becomes easier to dislike and even hate if he dons pinstripes.

I respected Martin for what he did with Wieters in the all-star game a couple years ago, but when he called time in the 8th when Matusz was pitching, and then gave a smug smile, it made me want to punch him in the face.

Funny coming from a guy who hit .211 this year.
