    I know we've done this before....

    ... the "if you had told me" game.

    But if you had told me before the season that we would be playing the Yankees in a pivotal playoff game at Yankee Stadium, and winning with Miguel Gonzalez (who?) on the mound on the strength of home runs by Ryan Flaherty and Manny Machado... this year .... I would have thought you were completely and totally insane.

    This season just gets crazier and crazier. The game of baseball NEVER loses its capacity to surprise.
