If Joe Saunders doesn't re sign with the Orioles...
...does that make it a necessity to get another starter? In other words, if we miss out on Joe, do we make a push for Porcello or Loshe as many national reporters have suggested?

I hold out hope that no one mentioned in this thread pitches for the Orioles this season.

If the O's don't sign Saunders, I think Steve Johnson has to be included in the competition for the #5 starter.

Wow Murph ...what a risky proposition

I will buy him a case. I think it would take a pretty substantial trade for 2 of these pitchers not to start the year on the team.
If Brittion pitches well and is healthy I think he is the 5th from jump with Matusz the 2nd Lefty w/ Patton.

If they can stick Jurrjens in Norfolk to begin the season, I don't see why Saunders wouldn't be in play.

With Jurrjens we have plenty of depth if we don't sign Saunders.
