Pretty exciting finish to a meaningless spring training game today

Blue Jays scored 2 runs in the top of the ninth to lead 10-8 going into bottom of
    the ninth.
The good guys scored 3 runs with two outs and two on to win it.
Ryan Flaherty with his third hit of the day...a three run bomb.
Wish I couldve been there for that.
    Birds win 11-10.

At least Flaherty is making a pretty good case to make the Opening Day roster. I would rather see him than Casilla to back up Roberts & JJ in a pinch.

Had friends there texting pics. Cemented fact that next year I am going. Watched entire thing on tv, and heard Flaherty's HR call from the bathroom. Def pretty exciting for spring.

We would have enjoyed your company. They showed the old rex Sox comeback for the 11 to 10 win to rally the troups going into the bottom of the 9th. This game ended the same.

I looked up and saw the count was 3-2 and knew a fastball was coming. I told my wife that "we might see a walk off jack here" and sure enough it went. Of course I can just say I called it and have no proof...but I really did call it

I'm excited that they're showing an O's replay tonight. Every time I've looked at masn it's been the Nationals being replayed.

    Today's Win is Meaningful

I know that spring training isn't about winning and losing and I know that records in spring training don't carry over to the regular season. But, that doesn't mean that today's win isn't important. The Orioles have developed a winning chemistry and to a man, have heard how Toronto will win the division and the Orioles might get lucky and contend for a wild card. The one consistent thing I have heard from everybody that has been to Sarasota is that the Orioles are a very confident and professionally run group. Don't think the starters aren't proud of winning today. Don't think they didn't give Flaherty a big hug in the clubhouse. I believe the guys in orange today have developed a lot of pride in this organization and I believe that really matters. Games like today solidify that and bring the backups and starters closer which is a very good formula for winning.

We know these games are exhibition games, but I believe the O's are playing to win them just the same.

Agree 100%. These guys are playing to win them. Let's hope the successful 2012 season and positive spring training results will continue their winning ways.

"good guys" won. Thats the point. This is NOT my job. Here I can be he fan I'm not allowed to be anywhere else. Get it?
