2013 GTP: Scott Feldman
Scott Feldman was acquired in mid-season for Jake Arrieta and Pedro Strop from the Cubs. He pitched effectively more times than not putting up a quality start 53% of the time and outside of his last start of the year when he was hammered by Boston, he pitched to a 3.57 ERA with the Orioles.

I went with C. Totally fine as a #4 or #5 MLB starting pitcher, but nothing really more than that. Just didn't do enough for me to get a B or A.

I expected his production to decline when he joined the O's, instead he improved. That was one deal DD made during the push that looks good in hindsight.

When we traded for Feldman, I wrote:I am not expecting him to match his 2013 ERA for the Cubs pitching in our division. But if he can give us 16 starts with an ERA around 4.50 and average 6 innings per start, and post a .500 record, we're way ahead of the game.
- 15 starts (8 quality starts)
- 4.27 ERA (went up .70 in his disastrous final start, after we'd been eliminated)
- 6.04 IP per start
- 5-6 record (team was 7-8 in his starts)
We got exactly what I expected, so he gets a C. I might have given him a B but for his final start. By the way, Tony's OP is mistaken is saying he had a 3.57 ERA for the O's. That was his ERA for us before his final start of the year, in which he gave up 8 ER in 2.1 IP.
