OOOOO NOVEMBER 29th, 2014

OOOOAUBURN TIGERS OOOOOOOOo. (8-3)

OOOOOOOOOOOO @

ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE OOO (10-1)

It's early in the 2nd quarter, and Auburn just kicked its third field goal of the game.

Even though they are losing by a score of 14-9, Auburn has a HUGE TIME OF POSSESSION advantage.

That could be a factor as the game wears on if the Alabama defense continues to labor, and the Auburn defense continues to take the field well-rested.

Donnie Humphrey died earlier this year.

Humphrey was an All-American defensive end on the Sugar Bowl champion 1983 team that finished the season at 11-1, and ranked # 3 by both major polls (sportswriters and coaches.)

After college, Humphrey played 3 seasons for the Green Bay Packers from 1984-1986.

After his N.F.L. career ended, Humphrey struggled with a drug addiction that he says began when he was playing for the Packers, and was incarcerated for several years on a forgery conviction in 1994.

Humphrey was 53 years-old.
