Delmon in the 2 hole? He's a hacker, might put a more patient guy there if you want to steal a base...

With Hardy out, is their a better 2 hole hitter? Schoop maybe?

I think the answer lies below: (career numbers of our hitters vs Nova)

Markakis - 11/34 with 1 HR, .885 OPS

Young - 5/8 with 1 HR, 1.667 OPS

Davis - 8/23 with 3 HR, 1.227 OPS

Jones - 7/35, .488 OPS

Wieters - 11/29 with 4 HR, 1.351 OPS

Cruz - 3/9 with 1 HR, 1.000 OPS

Seems like a recipe for success.

Fair enough - do you have Lough's #s vs. Nova?

Re the NYY pitcher today, I had no idea they were so desperate as to sign a female luger. And at 5'8" and 154 lbs I personally would NOT mind striking out against her.

She did win a silver medal.... the Yankees probably thought they overheard someone say she HAD a good slider, then later found out they meant she WAS a good slider.
