DOWN ON THE AA FARM

*******************

Much improved in his 2nd outing since returning from his 50-game suspension.

Gamboa essentially got 22 outs in 7 innings, because a runner reached base safely on one of his strikeouts via a dropped 3rd strike.

19 of the 22 outs recorded WERE NOT flyouts or lineouts.

All 3 walks were issued in the 1st inning.

After the 1st inning, Gamboa's pitch-count improved greatly. Over the final 6 innings, Gamboa threw 90 Pitches (58 Strikes, 32 Balls.)

22 OUTS: 7 Strikeouts (1 Dropped 3rd Strike), 7 Groundouts (including 1 Double Play), 3 Flyouts, 2 Popouts, 1 Picked Off of 2nd Base
