Oscar Taveras' home run in the bottom of the 7th inning was shades of Tom Lawless in Game Four of the 1987 World Series.

Taveras has 3 home runs in his young major league career so far ...... and that is already more than Lawless, who, not including his round-tripper in that 1987 World Series, had a grand total of 2 in his 8-year major league career.

Unfortunately, Taveras died only 2 weeks after hitting this home run.

Aside from the immediate tragedy of losing his life at such a young age, we'll never know how his baseball career would have played out. He had excellent numbers at AAA-Memphis the last 2 seasons.
