It's not his best pitch. It has a 0-run value, but it was -7 last season. It's hittable if he can't locate it well. His meatball % is 9.1 up from 7.7 last season. I could have sworn he had a 2500 RPM fastball but it's 2200. Percentile rankings.

Nothing was working tonight, but his fastball is the perennial question for me. It seems to need pinpoint command to work.

GAME RECAP

I just woke up  to see if the Orioles won and how Jackson did. I tried to sleep but the couple in the next door trailer was fighting. But I have learned alot in this thread. Also I have upset Betty Blowup,so my night is really ruined.

Cowser did significantly better in his first 32 PA than Holliday did.   That said, baby steps in the right direction tonight.    

I really do think that it will be good for Holliday (not just the ML club’s win%) to send him back down now. He needs to work on some things, it’s completely clear. You don’t learn a whole lot by being dominated in the MLB. He will at least gain confidence by getting better results in the minors, and the coaches can work on his weaknesses at the plate.
