Always had the talent and he was a 20-25 homer guy just two seasons ago. However, he's only 28, and most clubs don't just let a guy who supposed to be entering his "prime" years just walk. Considering Tony LaRussa gave up on him, and the club full of tool boxes and loudmouth sulky players didn't opt to bring him back, that doesn't speak very well. He also has noticeable splits between righties and lefties, like over a .100 point difference in OPS.
