Right-handed OF/1B. He was good enough to get some MLB AB's for the Brewers but didn't do much. Maybe a signal that Christian Walker may be expected to spend significant time with the O's this year?

He's actually 27, not 22.

Nice little move. I guess Norfolk will be the team of Corner OF'ers and Dh types this year. Whatever the weakness at the MLB level it seems like DD stacks AAA with potential replacements. Two years ago it was LF'ers and 2nd Basemen.

If he was actually 22, I doubt he would have been available in this way.

This is a depth move though and he has major league experience so its not terrible.

Most players get better as they repeat levels. He's dropped 30 or 40 OPS points a year each time he's gone back to AAA.

Had to have been pretty bad to get put on the AA roster for the winter.

Wondering if he was a MiLB free agent this winter and had already resigned.

He's a big boy, 6'4" 260. Seems to have some power.

Probably not good since he plays 1B. If he had a good arm I would assume he'd be a full time corner outfielder.
