After the initial surge, it seems things have died down on the injury front. Knock on wood, but I expect things to change once the starters play every game.

I'm tentatively adding Red Sox C Christian Vazquez, who is off to see the Wizard of Tommy John.

Brandon League is goin' down with a bum shoulder. Dodgers are suffering some attrition to their staff with Ryu, Bedard, Gaudin and Jansen also knicked up.

Tommy John claims another victim: Miami reliever Aaron Crow, who they traded for from the Royals.

Antoan Richardson wasn't expected to do much for the Rangers; nonetheless his back surgery adds to the growing list of injured Rangers. This after last season's record setting IR list.

A lot of players are going to be put on the 15-day DL to start the season. Time will tell how many of them move to the 60-day.

Can add Hardy, verlander, and crisp to the list.

Hardy and Verlander are both expected back in April. Coco Crisp underwent surgery and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks, at that's a huge blow to the Athletics; however he is still only on the 15-day DL.

Michael Saunders continues not to have a specific time table. He will beginning running Wednesday after the season starts.

Ervin Santana suspended for 80 games. While not an injury / DL situation, I'll include it since he will miss significant time for the Twins.

Josh Tomlin, 5th/6th starting pitcher type for Cleveland had shoulder surgery and is out for 3-4 months.

San Diego Padres starter Corey Luebke was moved from the 15 day to the 60 day -- he's recovering from, you guessed it, TJ surgery.

Texas is getting ravaged by injuries again. Derek Holland is down on the 60 day with a bum shoulder. Matt Harrison was moved to the 60 day with a bad back. Reliever Lisalverto Bonilla, who put up a 3.05 ERA last year, has the dreaded elbow problem.

Cleveland catcher Yan Gomes is down with an MCL sprain, expected to miss 6-8 weeks.

Colorado 3B Charlie Culberson is down with a bad back, moved to the 60 day DL after being optioned to AAA.

Mets reliever Jenrry Mejia caught with Stanozolol and suspended 80 games. Whoops.
