You mean they are not? When you are sober, which one do you think is better?

This year? I'm not sure yet. Last year? Chris. Going forward (setting aside age)? I hope Chris, but their career stats are close enough that I think one could be forgiven for not seeing much separation after a few beers.

Career:

BB/9 : 3.24

HR/9: 1.26

BABIP: .275

ERA: 4.12

FIP-: 111

xFIP: 4.39

Scott

Chris Tillman has been one of the larger disappointments of 2015. Bud Norris more so but Tillman, assuming he isn't hiding an injury, isn't fooling anyone.I wish we had Arrieta and Simon, but we don't. I dread this start.

We need a different catcher for Chris in my fantasy world.

Not sure how his catcher is making him float up 91 MPH fastballs right at the top of the strike zone.

Not showing that much of a velocity off, from the previous two seasons.

But, looking at the graphs, his slower stuff was slower, this year. not as big difference.

So maybe factor that in, along with location and there you go.

Tillman is a big part of the O's disappointment this year. Hopefully today is the day he starts to get his season together because he's costing himself a lot of money while help to cost the Orioles a chance at repeating as AL East champs.

Yay. Our no power, God awful defense RF stays in the game.

I'm really not sure what the heck is going on here. It's not like his career slash line of .235/.235/.471/.706 vs Feldman has him in there. Young's is a defensively challenged, slow, singles hitter at this point. He's a like a right-handed Markakis but not as good. Young is hitting about as empty a .288 as can be.
