Orioles trade Davies for Parra. Your verdict?

Now that the Zach Davies for Gerardo Parra trade is agreed upon (pending physicals), let's get your opinion on the record.

He's definitely an improvement, but I would rather have Davies than 2 months of Parra. Don't like this trade at all.

Bad trade. This team isn't close to having what it takes to win. This team would need 2 more bats, a top of the rotation starter and possibly another top reliever.

Quit trading young pitching for rentals that aren't difference makers.

Considering the organizations ability to develop arms...why not? By no means do I believe Parra is an answer to making the post-season or even having success if we make it, but it's a wash to me.

I like Parra and I would have advocated for picking him up in free agency but I'd have rather kept Davies than have Parra for the remainder of the year. Parra isn't changing a whole lot of team dynamic right now.

Parra is not likely to be worth more than a win more than Snider over the rest of the season and may be worth less. That isn't worth Davies, especially since we already have a good backup centerfielder in Lough.

I'm not sure who goes from the roster now. Snider? Reimold? Parmelee? Lough? They are all under team control beyond this season, and Parra isn't a giant leap ahead of any of them.

I am disgusted. I said I was worried what DD might do and here we go. We should have been sellers, this really upsets me. We don't have a deep farm system to make these kind of deals. Losing confidence in DD, particularly after last offseason.

I just hope he doesn't do more damage.
