He's been in the org since age 17 and his performance at ages 17-20 were decent but not eye-popping. He doesn't walk a ton of guys, but the strikeouts kind of come and go (6.75 K/9 for his career).

Does anyone know what he throws? He certainly has room to fill out, and could be an interesting pitcher to follow.

He seems to be a real Jekyll and Hyde kind of guy. Of the 35 ER he's allowed in his last 10 outings, 22 of them came in 3 starts that lasted 13 innings in total. The rest of the time, he's been pretty solid.

He's putting up a lot of innings. So at least he's going 5-6 every start on an 80 pitch limit.

I was sitting along the 3B line for the Delmarva v Hagerstown game last night. Jimenez was dominant, but he was tipping his pitches. His arm would slow down significantly for his offspeed pitches.

I assume this is a common problem among Class A pitchers.

This WAS NOT a start for Jimenez.

3 shutout innings out of the bullpen.

That's the good news.

The bad news is that he walked 3 batters in those 3 innings, and had an awful Strikes-to-Balls ratio (24 Strikes, 24 Balls.)
