Barker's best start of the season was the one before the last, against AA-Pensacola. He was pitching for AA-Mississippi at the time.

Then again, DD does like to talk up alot of players. :)

His numbers make him appear to be a prospect but, for reasons I don't know, some folks don't think he is one. We will see.

He wasn't rated one of Atlanta's top 30 prospects entering this season by Baseball America. That's not the be all, end all, but it certainly suggests that his stuff is pedestrian.

And yet statistically at least, he's probably in our top 15.
