Tillman should start game 1 against their best pitcher.

Gausman should start game 2 against a much less good pitcher.

Maybe the Rays should change then why should we change to them. Plus Pena will catch first game with Gausman while Tilman will have Matt catching who he loves throwing too.

Matt caught last nights game. Typically catchers don't catch a day game after a night game.

1) Tillman is facing their best starter, Odorizzi. The guy starting game 1 was bumped to the bullpen several weeks ago and is it starting due to the doubleheader.

2) Buck mentioned on the pregame something about wanting Tillman to start at night. Not sure why but that's what he said.

If Tillman can't pitch to Pena I find that hard to believe. Just trying to play the odds and get us in the playoffs.

He can pitch to Pena, I'm sure. He likes to pitch to Matt, apparently, though.

He's facing the better pitcher in Odirizzi anyway, though.

Gausman is pitching a masterpiece when we really needed it. 5 innings only 2 hits no runs and only 80 pitches.
