I saw the stats of this guy while watching the blowout today verses Oakland. Very impressed with his stats this year at Bowie and with his years in the Cuban league...any chance we bring him up this year? He's not exactly a youngster and should be given a chance in the big leagues.

Me too, as I've mentioned before. Typical under-the-radar DD move.

Hard to judge Cuban talent. Is he AA or AAA or ML ready? Next year to replace Chen might be too soon. Certainly a spring training invite.

I saw him handle Ryan Zimmerman with ease. But you are right, you never know until you see them with the big club.

I can't remember where but Buck or Dan was quoted as saying he was under consideration for September call up. He has certainly done everything possible to merit that.

Right now he might be the guy we turn to for a spot start if needed. Our SP depth is just not there right now. Gamboa isn't an option. It would be maybe Mac, Matusz and SJ then Miranda. Then Dana Eveland. haha
