When We Lose and Our Competitors Lose.

Do you feel relief or do you feel angry that we could have gained another game on them?

I've thought about this question before.

I think when we are holding a lead, I am a bit closer to the relief side. Because I mainly feel happy that we have a lead.

When we are chasing somebody, I am a bit closer to the angry side. Because I mainly want us to catch up.

Oh, and so far, thanks tonight, Detroit.

Both but more relief if I had to pick one.

Derek Norris is one of the worst defensive catchers I've seen in a long time, in terms of stopping balls in the dirt. Blue Jays scored two times off of it, one of them being the walk off run.

This home plate ump is pathetic, he may have cost the Padres the game with his atrocious knowledge or lack thereof the strike zone. Despicable for what is supposed to be a major league caliber umpire.

Prior to the Bautista walk, Travis should have struck out on a 1-2 pitch the ball got the entire outer portion of the zone. Brutal to watch.

Green lost it going to Villanueva. He is Padres worst reliever by a mile

It doesn't really mean much when it's still July, but I go with relief. It means you're in first place another day longer.

I look at this way.. if Orioles lose and they lose, it's still a win for the Orioles.. at this point Orioles have two games in hand that the Blue Jays don't. As of today they have 60 games left. Orioles have 62. Keep playing .580 ball and we are golden.

I stay calm and wait until we clinch.

It is always good going into a game and knowing that the Jays just lost. Now lets hope the Tigers can hold on.
