New name to watch, sounds intriguing.

Haven't seen one word posted about him here. How come?

Great question. I think the main reason is that he didn't start pitching at Delmarva until May 22, by which time among the relievers we were more focused on included Cleavinger, Meisinger and Turnipseed, who had done well in a considerable number of innings. And he had spent parts of 4 seasons in the Dominican League without doing much until last year, when he was 20 years old, which is very old for that league. So it's not like he came to Delmarva with a lot of fanfare, and he's kind of flown under the radar to his late start. But looking at his numbers this season, he has been very impressive. I'm always glad to hear about a promising prospect who I didn't really know existed suddenly emerging.

Watched him pitch today. Consistent 93-95mph, nasty slider around 88-89. Started off wild to first batter 3-0 then came back for the strike out. No issues the other 1.2 he pitched. Ended up with a 3k, 0bb, 0 hits. Final pitch was a knee buckling slider.

Bridwell looked rough. Double play saved him. Hitters making good contact and he was all over the place. Threw two balls into RF warming up in the pen.

Awesome. Thanks for the scouting report. Rep.

He sounds like Givens a little. Good thing he's working with Alan Mills too, that could be a reason he skipped Frederick. I would not be surprised if when we're all hands on deck in September if we see a guy like him or Scott added to the 40 man and be given a shot. Seems like every year a guy comes out of nowhere for a contender and is lights out down the stretch. Maybe this guy.

Bowie should have an interesting bullpen next year: Liranzo, Meisinger, Scott, Cleavinger, maybe Garcia if he gets converted. Seems like the organization is doing a pretty good job of developing bullpen arms.

Liranzo will be added to the 40-man roster this offseason and if he pitches well in the spring, could get an opportunity to start at AAA next year and possibly be in Baltimore before the All-star break if an opportunity arises.

I really liked Stefan Crichton's stuff. I feel like he could have a future in a MLB bullpen.

What other players will have to be added to the 40 man to be protected from the rule 5? Or will likely be added?
