Nick Guilder. Hot Child In The City? Sure. But Roxy Roller and Rated X might just be better.

I just made a CD for a girl I used to live with (platonic-like) in Iowa City...

Neutral Milk Hotel, "Song Against Sex"
    Electrelane, "Cut & Run"
    The National, "Mr. November"
    Jens Lekman, "Black Cab"
    Headlights, "Cherry Tulips"
    Okkervil River, "Plus Ones"
    The Kinks, "Alcohol"
    Sleater-Kinney, "The End of You"
Shout Out Louds, "Tonight I Have To Leave It"
Times New Viking, "Love Your Daughters"
Liars, "The Other Side of Mt. Heart Attack"
    Archie Bronson Outfit, "Jab Jab"
White Rabbits, "I Used to Complain, Now I Don't"
    Ola Podrida, "Cindy"
    Spoon, "The Agony of Lafitte"
    Vampire Weekend, "Ladies of Cambridge"
Broken Social Scene, "I'm Still Your ***"
Dinosaur Jr. "We Are Not Alone"

In fact, I'm listening to it right now. It ain't bad.

Artic Monkeys 2nd. I like it. I could also see their schtick getting old fast if they were as ubiquitous here as they are in the UK.

Their first one was okay, except I really didn't care for the track order. Some good stuff on there. Really liked When the Sun Goes Down, and some of the ones with long names. Haven't listened to the second one yet.

Now I'll be listening to that (the first one) all day.
