40 Licks - Stones hits. Two unsung IMO cuts by them.....Street Fighting Man - should be played at every Ravens game ...and loud. Fits the team to a tee. Paint it Black! It sounds as good today as it did way, way back. How about Gimme Shelter? Used this song as my theme for a film project in college. The short film was titled "The End." Years later there was a movie by that same name.
Also playing Mighty Rearranger - Robert Plant. Interesting CD.
There are several cuts that sound like stuff Zeppelin would have done. B tracks? left off other albums? Track #2 Shine It All Around he performed on Letterman or Leno when it came out. He was the old Plant that night. Tracks #3 Tin Pan Valley, #6 The Enchanter, #7 Takamba and #8 Dancing In Heaven are the best tracks. Heavy middle eastern flavor to these songs.
Also listening to a Scorpions/Whitesnake Hits CD. "Is This Love" - Whitesnake's super love song and Rock You Like A Hurricane by the Scorpions stand out. Has anyone ever been to The Hard Rock" in Baltimore when this song didn't play? Maybe it only plays when I walk in the door.
Where would we be without music and sports? I went on a date with a woman recently who was gorgeous and she didn't know anything about sports and didn't listen to music. I thought I was talking to a photo. How many songs are out there about a girl and her photograph? Def Leppard, Van Halen have a few.

Great melodic, power, pop. Sort of a Beatles meets King's X
