I'm an ex-DJ who's listened to a lot of music. I like to talk with people about CDs I think are criminally underappreciated. From the first song until the last, I consider the Counting Crow's "Hard Candy" to be one of the finest CDs I've heard in recent years. The musical style is all over the map, yet consistently good. They sound like a different band on almost every song. If you ever see it in a used CD bin, pick it up. It's a wonderful CD.

If you don't know Fall Out Boy, run out and get you one of their CDs. Under the Cork Tree is one of those rare albums that you can listen to front-to-back, over and over again. Great writing, funny hooks, above average guitars... one of the best out there.

Thanks for the kudos. I've got all three of the V-Roys CDs (The third one is kinda rare. It's live). I saw them live once here in Gainesville. Those of you who catch "Blue Collar Comedy" on TV get to hear Scott Miller. He's the center piece of the house band on the program.
