D'Angelo's "Voodoo" and Ian Hunter's "No Strings Attached" are loaded in the car for a date tonight. We're going to see "March of the Penguins" at the theater.

Ouch, man. You can't be dissing me about my choice of "Voodoo" for date music, so I assume it's Ian Hunter OR me taking her to see "March of the Penguins". THAT was a wonderful documentary, by the way, and yes, I was invited up to her place afterwards, but all she wanted to do was listen to some pabulum by Vertical Horizon.

You probably get invited inside a lot by using words like pabulum.

Well damn you MChance, you got me hooked on LFO when you told me that being a lookalike to the LFO lead singer was a compliment. The song "Summer Girls" is quite addicting IMO. I agree with all this:

    Chinese food makes me sick.
And I think it's fly when girls stop by for the summer, for the summer
I like girls that wear Abercrombie and Fitch,
    Macauly Culkin wasn't Home Alone
Michael J Fox was Alex P Keaton
New Kids On The block, had a bunch of hits
Used to hate school so I had to play hookie,
Known to act wild and make girls smile,
I'll steal your honey like I stole your bike
Like the color purple, macaroni and cheese,
    I like Kevin Bacon,but I hate Footloose

    Take me away
To a place where the good times good times roll
    Don’t let me stay
In a place where this hate can steal my soul

That song is wildly addicting, much like other LFO songs. It's a shame they never got the attention other boy bands got.

Jesus, these last few days, I'm driving my family and my girfriend crazy, everytime I drive her, I have that song playing, every time I'm at the computer I have it playing so the house can hear it. It's insane bro.

I read about a new soundtrack from the recent Dylan PBS Series that has some new versions of his classics. Do you have it?

Manchester, England England, across the Atlantic Sea....................

Good to hear your voice, yudman!

Likewise bobman! It's been awhile! Trying to get back into the swing of things here, missing America big time though.

I haven't got that new soundtrack but may buy it after I watch the show, it looks incredible! Scorcese knows how to make a good documentary....The Last Waltz is an amazing movie. I'm totally psyched for this one on Bobby Zimmerman.

You back from your west coast adventures?

As long as you don't start listening to O-Town, you're alright. No matter what BaltBird tells you.

I've been learning how to play "Leaving Town" by Dexter Freebish on guitar.

Also, Pon De Replay by Rihanna has been stuck in my head on a loop for weeks.
