Top 'O the Page, ma...
So... it's Friday night... beer is going down like water. This is the first day of my last weekend of my "vacation".
I start my new job Monday. Talk about mixed feelings!
I've loved the year and a half I've been idle. Best vacation I've ever had. Sponsored by PA Unemployment Compensation and our beloved Fed Gov.
Monday I become a Federal employee. More or less. I'll be working for a contractor to the Fed Gov. Like I care... I'll be making a BUTTLOAD more money than I ever have made before!
50K for some stupid grunt in the shop.
I had a call from another employer Wednesday (Flow Serve). Similar pay, closer to my home, better work (a machine control I'm REALLY familiar with) But they never called me back...
Seemed all interested and said they'd set up an interview yesterday or today (Thursday or Friday).
They never called. I called back today (Friday... 12:30 ish) and THEY NEVER called. So F 'em! Their loss. They missed out on a damn good CNC Machinist.
So Monday at noon I start my new job making $6 more per hour than I ever have. $22.36 per. There are negative things about this job... but they're far outweighed by the positives.
So it's Friday night (still) for me. And I'm 3/4s drunk. And headed toward MUCH more debauchery! WOO HOO! Life is good!

I'm sitting on top of the RV at Legends Weekend reflecting on the events that have transpired. Good lord. The best part is that the best is yet to come. Suicide Sunday at the Starboard is on the horizon. Game on!
I have some strange friends, but they are like family. They sure as hell make life interesting.

Nearing the back stretch of my 2 week vacation. Spent the first week in Cancun, and the second week home for the most part.
O's won again tonight, and I'm marathoning the hell out of Friday Night Lights - Why wouldn't I be drunk?

Just wanted to say (brag...) I was pretty damn drunk last night when I made my latest avatar (Jimi behind the back). I happened onto the latest HQ video. Captured it at just the exact right moment. Cropped and sized it, converted from .bmp to .jpg. Uploaded it on here. All while very drunk.
Just like this post tonight (pretty damn drunk again!
) recalling last night, and not a single typo et al.....
I have drunk skilz.......

I'm on my way... although it's just Miller Lite so who know's how long it will last. I'm tempering a beer now to get ready for a shot gun. Can't be shot gunning 'dem ice cold brews.
I love that Columbus Day (and working at a Bank) has afforded me the opportunity to get hammer timed on a Sunday evening!
Last Sunday I was at the Ravens/Jets game and didn't get home till 2:00 AM Monday. Needless to say, my Monday tomorrow will be much better than the last one was.
