Know what I really hate? Gum commercials. I've yet to see a good gum commercial.

Does chewing gum really warrant its own commercials?

I thought there was one that was witty where there are executives in a meeting and they say something like "The guys in research say that making our gum last so long is going to make us lose money because people are going to buy less gum. Heh, what morons!" And then the production line stops.

I'm reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaallllllyyyyyyy hating that stupid Suntrust commercial where it talks about how if you open a checking acount they'll donate 100 bucks to your favorite charity. "Or, we'll give you 50 dollars for your own cause". And then they assume at the end "So, how do you want to help your community?"

Know what? *$%# my community. Yes, that's right, that 100 dollars would be better served to continue my crack habit. I don't want to donate it to charity, I want to get all Tyrone Biggums with it.

So what exactly is the Oreo pizza? I looked at a picture and it looks like they broke up a bunch of Oreos and drizzled frosting on the top and then put it on a big plate. I could have done that. Why would anyone eat that? It makes me sick just to look at it.

OK, the commercial is terrible, but I must say the actual oreo pizza looks delicious to me. I'm all for foods high in carbs and saturated fat. I try to avoid them, but they are the tastiest.

After seeing this every commerical break, I agree. 1 2 3 4 I can't take her anymore.

Also, the Travel Lodge commerical with the creepy dancing bear, the Texas Instrument DLP with the girl and the elephant (I've mentioned it before, but it must be said again...we get it already, it's the dang mirrors), and those cocky dyson vacuum cleaner commericals.

On the positive side, I get a kick out the 'Messin' with Satchsquash' beef jerky commericals.

Hey!!! That's my employer, you know. Leading up to this ad campaign, we got (internal) e-mails about the premise of said campaign. I was reading this e-mail thinking "WTF?!?"

Ooh, I forgot my favorite one: Invent Help. That guy walking around the white room, pointing at his logo and company name, and looking at...something, off-camera. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LOOKING AT, BOB SUSA OF INVENT HELP?

The "texting" commercials! I can't stand texting to begin with. So to see an ad where the Grandma is telling her daughter that she's been texting her bff Mable (or whatever her name is) is stupid!

If there really are people texting thousands of times a month they need to be put in a rocket ship that's headed towards the Sun!!
