Y'know...these "cool" McDonald's "I'm lovin' it" commericals are wearing thin on me.

Gotta weigh in here:
The gecko on the geico commercials are the worse. I mean, why in God's name do I want to buy car insurance from a company that has a foreign gecko as it's "spokesman"?
The Kenny Mayne ad for Progressive insurance. What the hell is wrong with his walk? If he's disabled, he shouldn't be doing all that walking and if he thinks that's a cool walk, he's lost his mind.

What irks me about the Geico gecko is that he used to HATE Geico, that was the gimmick. He was sick of people juxtoposing gecko for Geico. Then all of a sudden, he's an employee, then a spokeslizard, and then, out of the blue, he's British. WTF?

"This is why he's a succesful receiver in the National. Football. League."

I just hate how she squints all the time.

Sort of like they asked someone who lives in a cave and has never had any exposure to English people "What does a good English accent sound like?"

Has anyone seen those Hardee's (Carl Jr's to those one the west coast) ads with the two guys in flannel shirts shaking the cows to the "milkshake" song? The ads are advertising, of course, their new milkshakes. I have to change the channel when that one comes on because it troubles me.

How about the annoying McDonalds commericaly advertising Grandma's sweet tea! It's so lame and the "you can keep grandma's seacret, can't you" terrible.

The new "Most annoying commercial of all time" has got to go to the Peyton Manning Direc-tv ad. Yelling from the huddle during the game, "check out my brother" Give me a break!
And it's on all of the time!

"On second thought... I'll think I'll pass!" That one? Yeah, I can't stand that thing, or the one with him in a mustache. I only like that one where he was cheering the everyday workers at the gas station and store. Otherwise, bleh.
Speaking of hating commercials - I just wrote an email feedback to Volkswagen telling them how much I hate their crash ads. With my inflated sense of self-importance, I just thought they should know.

But, I bought the New Jetta for its safety features!
Really, I did I've got a 3yo and a 1yo. Last year though, I was comparing it to the Accord and Camry and it flat-out won.
I don't like the commercials either- not the best marketing program.

I laughed, but thats not far off. (She's also a B-more native!)

I miss Melissa Stark, but I'm a big fan of Erin Andrews.
