New most hated Commercial

Everytime I hear the commercial the only thing I think is, "He went to Subway to buy jewelry from that guy who used to be fat?"

Has anyone seen the ad with him and Michael Strahan (I think)? He's starting to gain it back...

Plus, he's been "gaining it back" for about a year now. He's still way thinner than he was, and therefore still a good "everyman" spokesman for them. Doesn't mean I have to like him, though. Talk about 15 minutes of fame lasting too long.

I kinda like that one, probably because I can somewhat relate to it. We bought our house 6 years ago and there is a switch in our garage that I don't know what it is supposed to do.

I actually really like that one, I think it's clever for a car commercial. Of course, it's sort of an inside joke, as that commercial shows clips of the "n64 kid" video that was all over the internet a few years back.

One new one and one that's been around since I was a kid:

Blue Hippo. Apparently it's some creditor that gets you a "name brand computer" for low month payments, for people "who can't afford one." You can't afford a computer, but you can afford to pay what I'm going to assume is 25% interest over 5 years? Smart..

Then there's the Art Institute Commericals. Can you draw a cartoon turtle's head? If that's the case, with our rigious by mail course you can be a world famous artist and paint turtle heads on the Vatican Ceiling or chisel a Turtle head on Mt. Rushmore. By the time you finish our course, whether you draw for pleasure or work, you'll be able to draw a body to go along with that turtle's head and it'll make you happy.

They're running a radio ad around here about the wonder and glory of owning an "E-Bay business". And that if you get their free tape and follow the tips/advice you too can live a life of affluence and luxury.

They neglect to mention the need of having something of value and significant demand to actually sell.... details, details. :P

I don't remember if its the same company, but "back in the day" there used to be an ad like this near the back of every issue of TV Guide...and TV Guide was only 15 cents too!
