I thought it was an ok episode, but a bit of a let down. My expectations were probably too high, but they could have done better than that. I didn't understand why Nathan had to fly him up either, and if he did, why couldn't he just take him up real high, toss him in the air, and fly back down real quick? I wanted more from the Sylar vs. Peter fight too.

I actually like Sylar's character as a villain and I'm kind of glad he wasn't killed that easily. I am pretty excited about the possibilities for next season, but we have a ways to go for that.

I have a thought about what mama Patrelli's powers could be, if she even has any. I was thinking that she could be the opposite of Mr. Linderman. Meaning she can somehow give people fatal illnesses. Something about the conversation between her and Charles Deveroux made me think that he had somehow betrayed her and Linderman, so she made him die. Maybe he knew that before hand and thats why he didn't seem very anxious about dying, like he did something good in exchange. I'm probably way off, but I thought that would be kind of cool. Maybe shes behind her husbands death.

Oh well, lets see if Lost can make up for the slight disappointment.

Do you think it really matters to the show, since all three are (as far as we know) dead?

Sorry -- late to the show again. I had some stuff going on last night and wasn't able to watch Heroes 'til now.

I was thinking that the lone samurai in blue on the hill with the Heroes symbol may be Kensei.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. And, what I could see of the dude's face thru the mask -- he looked an awful lot like Sulu.

As for the fight scene (or lack thereof), I believe Kring said earlier in the season that the special effects were not the focus of the show (i.e. they didn't have the budget to have awesome fight scenes).

Also, Peter wasn't "just punching him," he was using Nikki's power of super strength...

Ahhhhh. Good call.

I must've had a bad angle on my laptop screen while watching the show on-line 'cause I soooooo didn't get that Sylar was still alive. I thought that scene was showing his body lying there. Stupid computer.

I thought the finale was OK. Not at all what I expected of a season finale, though. It just seemed like a regular episode to me. It does seem that the culmination of the "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" mini-arc was much more action-packed and satisfying than this season finale. /shrug

Well always takes a little longer until these shows travel across the pond.

The first 22 episodes were great (with the exception of the Nicki/Jessica story) but I was dissapointed in the final. Boring and let's be honest no real shocker there.
