OMG. Taco Bell is so greasy and nasty-looking and terrible for you but it tastes sooooo good. I am in heaven right now. And my dinner cost me $3.20. Ahhhhh.

I'm eating mac... with a quarter cup o (real) butter, quarter cup o whole milk, quarter cup plus o (sad) green bottle parmesan. Healthy dose of onion, cracked black pepper, and parsley, pinch of soy sauce. My version of alfredo...
cost 12 cents....
My own personal heaven...

Yup! Enjoy the youth - many nice memories, but adulthood is very shweet.
At 21, I thought life was over (life, love, work all ruled as it turned out). At forty, I was depressed for a day or so (the forties were the best!). At 60, I realized that I had it pretty good for a long time and good life was still ahead of me. So many things to do and so little time. The USA is the greatest!
But, don't forget the sunblock!

When Griffey Jr. hits his 600th HR anyday now, the idiots at Baseball Tonight and Sportscenter better DARN well give him at least the attention they gave idiot Manny for hitting his 500th. I've seen the darn HR about eighteen times and I've only been home for about three hours. The guys are practically orgasming about it even though over 20 other players all ready passed that milestone. Only FIVE other players have gotten where Griffey is going to be soon and if they shove that to the backburner for some idiot RS or Stankee news, this fan is going to let them have it big time.

GO JUNIOR.
(Sorry for the rant but this really honked me off tonight.

I just received notice that my college e-mail account will be shut down in a month. I graduated a year ago. This is going to be a pain. Would it really be too expensive to let alumni keep their e-mail accounts?

Excellent point.
IMO, you should send a letter to the Alumni Association. Not an email, but an actual letter, with a stamp and everything. Point out how this would be a good and cheap way to keep the college in touch with people, and vice versa.
The college IT guys might complain, but they could work out some compromise (e.g., if somebody doesn't use it for a year and doesn't have it forwarded someplace, they can nuke it then).
The Alumni Assoc people would love it, because it would make it easier for them to spam everybody about giving money.

Waiting to hear if you'll relocate stinks..I'm enjoying looking into a new area and am ready to go now, but I may not hear anything for another few weeks.

Waiters that intentionally give really
terrible service to parties that are just big enough to qualify for their restaurant's "we reserve the right to add gratuity to the parties of X or more" clause.
Also, little losers who work at Italian restaurants and look slightly Italian so they decide it's cute to put on a fake accent (yes, same guy).

Something like this happened one time when me and some friends went to SC for spring break while in college. We got horrible service, but our party was big enough to qualify for the automatic tip at "X" percent. We didn't think this was fair so we complained to the manager about it and got them to take it off the bill. We left a tip, but it was not what the reciept suggested.
