Had this three weeks ago. I went about 24 hours without being able to keep down more than a couple mouthfuls of water and it was horrible. I stopped actually throwing up after that point but was in bed for 5 days because I was so messed up from dehydration and not eating. Next time I'm going to the ER if it gets that bad with the fluids. Having your pulse race at 140 for like two and a half straight days is really uncomfortable.

Man, was I eternally grateful that I just happened to have a plastic bin under my bed the night it hit, though. Usually I get enough warning to make it to the bathroom, but not with this bug.

Yikes that a whole other order of magnitude to what I went through. I even dragged myself into work today, admittedly I was a bit sore, dehydrated, and well....gassy.

He's working on getting his times to the plate faster. We've challenged our pitchers with Matt (Wieters) and (Taylor) Teagarden back there. He had a really good time to the plate from the stretch.
Time to the plate Buck? You have maybe the best defensive Catcher in the game back there and a staff that couldn't get anyone out last year and you are worried about Time to the plate?

How about working on them keeping guys off to begin with?

I don't know if this crap effected Matusz last season or not but time to the plate should be well down on the list for the players to be worrying about.

Had a rough weekend, FRI night got smacked with a bug, fever, chills, no appetite. SAT slept all day, finally could sit up straight about 5pm, still couldn't eat, throat getting a little sore. SUN, throat REALLY sore and swollen, fever broke, but coherent at least. So I go to the Dr. today worried that it's something contagious I might pass on to the girls...yeah. I have Scarlet Fever. SERIOUSLY???!!! Who the *** gets Scarlet Fever anymore? Is it even still a "thing?" Oh yes...yes it is, it's just strep with a painful rash.

If you have to be court-ordered to support your son's sporting events, you're doing it wrong, stupid.

Why does it seem like 1/2 the time when I go to pour coffee into my mug it just spills out from the coffee pot and goes everywhere?

I feel bad when I see people who are surely paying a lot to lease their BMW get ripped off because it didn't come with a turn signal.

Thought that was the worst...infection spread and got hospitalized for 2.5 days. Home now, but some of the care at the hospital was just terrible. It's amazing how understaffed they are and how some of the "qualified" people hate their jobs. I saw some doctors that thought they knew better than everyone else because they took 40 seconds out of their busy day to see you, so they would change your whole diagnosis without reading your file. They also don't like it when you tell them they are wrong, especially when you PROVE them wrong and then they look like an asshole in front of other staff because they got all loud with you. That guy didn't show his face again for 2 days, but I got some applause from the rest of the staff for it. He much be a douche all the time.
