This movie that's coming out soon seems like it could be alternatively titled "Short Rants: The Movie": http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/god_...lers/11163195/
It seems to have potential.

They are redoing the roof directly over my office today. It sounds like I'm in a war zone. Not even kidding.
I said, THEY ARE REDOING THE ROOF OVER MY OFFICE. CAN YOU HEAR ME? CAN...YOU....HEAR....ME?

If it makes you feel any better, your presence in the jury pool is actually serving a huge civic duty. Because there were 35 people in the jury pool, a defense attorne might be more inclined to push his client to accept a plea bargain rather than go to trial. That actually SAVES taxpayer money. That's $15 each well spent.
I know it doesn't make you feel any better about wasting the day, but at least you know it wasn't an entire waste.

Does nobody want to see Radiohead? I got 2 extra tickets in March, thinking I'd be able to sell them for a nice amount, and see Radiohead for cheap. Unfortunately, it looks like I'm going to break even at best. WTF?!?!?!

MASN, come on now, stop it with the homer-ific text message updates. It'd be nice to know when the score changes either way, not just when the Orioles score...or possibly have a chance to score. It's kind of annoying to get an early update about the Orioles taking a lead, get nothing for a while, then getting another one about how the Orioles have scored to decrease the deficit. The whole point of getting the updates is because, in theory, I'm not getting updates any other way, morons. You need to keep me COMPLETELY updated.

Today I became one of "those" people: I got so preoccupied playing with my iPhone that I zoned out and completely missed my subway stop. I have no memory of even going through it. All I remember is my ears turning back on just in time to hear "McPherson Square, doors right side," then thinking "I've never been to this stop before. . .CRAP!" So I had to get off, race up and over the tracks to the platform on the other side, and board a train going in the opposite direction to get back to my transfer station.
Fortunately, it was my last day of internship, so I don't have to ride the train anymore. And it cost me like 5 minutes, and I didn't have anywhere important to be anyway. But now I can't laugh at the people who do that any more.

Tuesday at lunch I thought I had something stuck between my teeth. I got some floss and went to work, and "something" went firing out of my mouth.
I kept playing with the area, and Wednesday I finally made a dentist appointment for Thursday.
Thursday I woke up not feeling great, probably from the tooth, and stayed home. I went to the dentist yesterday, and he said the filling had broken, and because it was such a big filling, instead of replacing it, they were gonna cap the tooth. So 2 hours and $350 later, I now have a cap on that tooth...all because of ONE wrong bite from lunch!

This is not really a rant, well it is but it's a very light-hearted one...
Does anyone have the Oriole page-a-day calender for this year? (Not sure who this particular one is by, maybe a company called Perfect Timing?)
Anyway, the trivia questions are impossible. For example...
Who was the first player to steal over 40 bases in their final season in the major leagues (post-1900)?
I mean, who knows that? The correct answer, BTW, is Dave Fultz, who stole 44 in 1905.
Another one...
Who was the first Hall of Fame umpire to be behind the plate for a Major League perfect game?
The answer, obviously, is Tom Connolly back in 1908.
Who would possibly know this kind of stuff?
