It may have to do with the number of students in his class. TAs in the non-calculus physics were allowed to have some leeway, they had around 30 students. Calculus physics had about 500, so any leeway given to one would have to be given to all.

this is way tooo weird...my brother and I (this is no lie) are making an "I hate" book..we've been working on it for a couple of months. We have 577 things so far and a lot of it is the type of stuff you've mentioned. It's supposed to be funny...but in some ways it will make people go, wait, man i didn't know people hate when i do that

OK, does it bother anyone else when people load the toilet paper onto the roll so the loose end is facing the wall? This just drives me crazy for some reason, because you ALWAYS have to spin it to find the loose end.

    Lineup Threads

If you're going to start a thread and post the day's lineups, could you take the extra 2 minutes to format it so it's actually readable?

Fixed that to describe my thoughts at the moment... noticed this several times lately... give a main idea, or an opinion or something. No big deal though... it's hot outside and it's making me a little cranky today.

Curses on ESPN Radio "Triple X" radio 730 in DC , can't even receive this obscure station at night because its signal is so weak. At night time , it's like there is no ESPN radio affiliate in Washington DC , because none of their advertised radio stations (94.3 / 92.7 / 730 AM "all over DC") work at all once the sun goes down (and even in the mornings when I drive around I can barely pick up 94.3 FM!).

What angers me even more is that they won't even stream what I want to hear (the NBA eastern conf finals) online on their website. Listen , I understand lawyers don't want that content streamed on the internet , but don't they understand I can't listen on my radio either and I live in DC? And finally , Triple X is the new home of VT football , George Mason basketball , the MLB on ESPN , the NBA on ESPN , the BCS on ESPN , and so on. I wish ESPN was still on 980 , at least you could pick up that signal for miles and miles away from DC.

I hate when you're out to dinner with a big group of people, eating at a long table, and someone from the group wants to stand at the head of the table and take a picture with everybody leaning in. When has that shot ever resulted in a good picture? Come on!

People who leave small children or animals in cars, while they go about their shopping.

Women who are driving and putting makeup on at the same time. I really $*(%&&$& hate that.

Guys reading the paper while driving. Or even better, multi-tasking: paper, coffee, donut while driving.

I once saw a woman painting her toenails while driving. She had her left foot up next to the steering wheel.

People text messaging while driving. People text messaging on a phone with a qwerty-keyboard while driving.

People busy checking themselves out in their various mirrors at red lights, and missing when it turns green.

People who think that beeping their horn in traffic is actually going to fix things.

........figure out to the penny what each of the 16 people owes to the tab,
rather than just splitting it evenly (with tip).....

So what if Mary's entree was $11.95 and yours was $9.95 or that Fred had 2 $4 drinks and Joe only had 1.

No, sorry man. If I'm at Applebee's and I get an $8 burger and my wife gets $5 soup, I shouldn't have to pay for my friends' and his wife's $15 steaks.

I agree here. Of course, I always keep track of what I'm spending as I'm ordering, so I don't have to look at teh bill to figure it out.
