And I'm sure when he was messing with poisonous snakes he wasn't filming his show from exotic Perry Hall, Maryland.

    CRIKEY!

Listen, this snake is either a) a King Cobra b) an Anaconda, or c) a harmless garter snake.

Either way, Perry Hall is quite exotic in the summer time!

    Funny story...

Last night I went on my evening run to Codorus, back through the woods next to my house. There is a large hill about a half mile in that's covered with roots and stuff. I'm just running w/ my Ipod blaring, paying zero attention to my physical surroundings, instead concentrating on the billion things going on in my life at present.

So anyways, I get to the top of the hill and sure enough, laying there right in the middle of the trail is a 5 or 6 foot long blacksnake. It curled up in a defensive position and I kinda just jogged past it, but I couldn't help but imagine Dip and Cindy sprinting the other way in terror. I actually giggled a little bit.

Aw, Cindy. There are likely snakes in every state & national park in the country.

It wasn't "in" the park, it was on a trail leading up to the park. I think I just scared him a little bit. I scared him more than he scared me.

So does this mean if I keep my snake around, I can guarantee that you'll never come to my house? Ok, the snake stays!

    1) Were you not at all startled? Slow down a bit? Heart jumped? nothing?

    b) I would never be found running for fun!

    3) 5 or 6 FEET? Oh my!

    d) I would have stopped, had a heart attack. Woke up later and ran the other way...even if the snake had left the area!

I mean, I guess I was a little startled, but it's not like it's unheardof to come across a snake in the woods. He backed up a little bit and I jogged on by.

Yeah, he was a big one. Somewhere between 5-6 feet. We just happened to interrupt one another's afternoon constitutional.

As you ran by, the snake didn't mention anything he's heard about Mark Teixiera coming to Baltimore, did he?

    Funny you mention that...

He said, "I wouldn't trade Freddie Bynum for that bum."

That was almost enough to make me stomp on him.

I spotted a turtle in Central Park yesterday. He predicted Cabrera would K 15 per nine from the pen.
