It's like a real life Monopoly card. Feels damn good.

Does TV get any better than an infomercial for a compilation CD? The new one with Air Supply is terrific, but my all-time favorite was the one from a few years ago for '60s Gold starring Davy Jones.

My anti-rant is when I get to logon to snapfish (online storage) and see new pictures of the wife and kids.

Also, the best purchase I have made in quite some time is my Creative Labs Zen. It is simple to use and passes the time .

I did some free work for a client, and they called and asked me to send them a bill. How cool is that?

    Also, I've lost 9 pounds.

My grandfather is moving into a retirement community and is disposing of his car, because he's moving to Boston and God knows it's bad enough for anybody driving there, let alone a 90-year-old. My cousin was originally supposed to take the car, but he lives in Toronto and is worried about transferring the registration internationally and doesn't want it anymore.

    So guess who's getting it?

I just now learned that mayonnaise is made from eggs. I did not know this. I discovered it while on a website trying to collect data on kosher foods for a project and noticing that Hellmann's mayonnaise was labelled pareve and not dairy as I expected.

"But what about the milk in it?" I wondered.

A brief sojourn to the dorm refrigerator to look at the ingredients label on a jar yielded the surprising news that, in fact, mayonnaise is not made out of milk. It is made from eggs. And vegetable oil.

I am more excited by this new bit of information than by anything I have learned in classes for this entire term. Also HIGHLY amused that I am 20 years old and had no idea what mayonnaise was made out of.

An hour ago I had a headache and felt like ****. I took a tylenol and now I feel great. There's nothing better than the the way you feel just after a headache goes away. I feel reborn.

Over the summer I got a random notice from the IRS informing me that they owed me some amount under $1. It said the IRS doesn't mail refund checks for amounts under $1 unless you write back and actually request it. I didn't bother.

About the time of my birthday my car insurance company mailed me a $14 refund for being a year older. Apparently they suffer from the delusion that as I age I become more responsible.
