I accept your apology. To me, it didn't seem like you. You might get a little carried away, every now and then, but this was different. Somebody said you once went off on somebody else for no reason, but I don't know anything about that. But if you're doing stuff for no reason, and then you don't even remember, well, that can't be good. I'm no prude, at one time or another I did pretty much everything you're not supposed to do. So I sure ain't saying I'm any better than you, and it's not my place to preach at anybody. I can't stand it when somebody preaches at me. But I am kinda worried about you. I hope you don't need some big "cosmic wake-up call" event for you to get a handle on whatever it is. I don't wanna see anything bad happen to you, or to anybody else who happens to be around you at the wrong moment. None of my business, really... but still. I ain't your big brother or anything... but we're all each other's brother in a way. So, in that spirit, I hope you decide to get serious about fixing whatever it is... really, bro...
Anyway, we're cool...Last edited by rshackelford; 11-24-2007 at 04:49 PM.

No, nothing like that. Been real busy....picked up some new buildings and really stressed. But its good stres..more business.
I probably was in a pissed off mood, had some cocktails and felt like ranting myself. Dont worry about me....never been better.
In real life you need to compose yourself all the time. Sometime a message board allows for letting off some steam. Thats what I did at times...but always admitted when I was wrong. Hey, over 4000 posts...they cant all be pleasant.
Now I am starting to sound long winded like you.

Hearing, "Oh, hi Daddy! Gumornin'!" every morning like that little blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl hits the hallway and is surprised to see me there and the too-strong-for-two-years-old hug that always follows after she comes down one step at a time until she's low enough for me to scoop her up. With her head on my shoulder after the hug, "I wuvs you, Daddy," is icing on the cake. To top it off, "Isn't She Lovely?" by Stevie Wonder popped up on my MP3 player as I walked from my garage to the office.

I just got off the phone with the Gap. I had ordered a bunch of stuff for my wife, and thought that two items were missing.
The guy on the phone was having computer problems and had to put me on hold for a while. While on hold, i noticed that the two (very small) items had actually fallen behind my trash can while I was pulling a ginormous coat out of the packaging.
The guy on the phone was all ready to re-ship the missing items. I stayed on hold and embarrassingly told him that I found the items. He was happy to hear that, and he apologized profusely for leaving me on hold (for about 5 minutes).
He actually ended up refunding me the full purchase price of the items that I had thought were not shipped! I felt terrible, being that I was the idiot in the scenario, but he refused to do anything less.
So, yay Gap for Christmas shopping! I will happily spend more money there this Season...

Tomorrow is my Six Year wedding anniversary. SIX YEARS. And, to answer your unasked question, nope, I dunno what she sees, either. But luckily, she still sees it

And Wednesday will be NINE YEARS we've been together altogether. She wasted her youth on me!!! I am one lucky bald man.
