    I have less than 24 hours left of college. One exam in 1.5 hours in an intro class I took pass/fail, and that's it. Today has been consumed by packing the last 4 years of my life into boxes. My dad is arriving to pick me up this evening and we're road-trippin' it home. I'll be looking at the grad schools I got into for the next 3 weekends, then flying out to visit my brother at school next month. One stage of my life over, then the next begins just like that.

    I put this in anti-rants because really, getting a college degree is a great thing, but it's kinda sad.

    When it's not warm enough to go barefoot, my bride wears socks around the house, not slippers.
    Lately, she's been wearing hilarious socks. One day, it's colorful ones with individual toes.
    The next day, it's socks with big gray and pink stripes and tassel-ball thingees that dangle from the top.
    She used to wear good-humored shoes, various kinds of red ones. These days, it's hilarious socks.
    She makes the most boring and ordinary things fun. Plus, she puts up with me. I'm very lucky.

    Yeah I'm glad espn is doing this game. I'm on spring break vacation in Florida. Though, I like the MASN announcers back in Marlyland better. But at least it's on! I'll be watching!
